Rev. Dr. Bethany Fox is a pastor, speaker, writer, consultant, and certified coach. She earned her PhD in Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary, MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Russian Literature from UCLA. She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 2019.

She is currently pastoring at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. Bethany is also the Consultant for Intellectual Disability and Neurodiversity for the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Bethany has been coaching clergy, church starters, and other leaders since 2019. She received her ACC certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in 2023.

 

In 2017 she started an ability-inclusive church where people with and without intellectual and other disabilities could lead and participate together; a community she pastored for 5 years.

 

Bethany enjoys being in nature with trees and birds, making music with her husband Michael, continuing to experiment with stand-up comedy, and exploring the diversity of art, food, and culture around Los Angeles. She is active in her centering prayer group, and lives with her husband and 2 dogs in South Los Angeles.
